Located in the Gorka Palace, the Museum is dedicated to the prehistoric and mediaeval archaeology of Wielkopolska (Greater Poland) and prehistoric archaeology of Egypt and Sudan. The collections include: inventories of graves and settlements, bronze, silver and golden hoards, collective and stray finds from Palaeolithic to Early Middle Ages, assemblages from Mediaeval and Early Modern times from Greater Poland and archaeological finds from Egypt and the Sudan.
