Housed in the basement of the Franciscan Monastery, the model presents Poznan as it was depicted in Braun-Hogenberg's picture of 1618. The model consists of 2300 objects in scale 1:150. Its central part is covered by a town located on the left bank of Warta River, in the circle of medieval walls. Additionally, you can see a miniature of Ostrow Tumski, as well as miniatures of the suburban villages. Visitors may listen to a half-hour recording on historical Poznan, the life of its residents and how the town has evolved over the ages. A lighting system highlights successive sections of the town as they are described in the recording. The show starts daily at: 9:30am, 10:15am, 11am, 11:45am, 12:30am, 1:15pm, 2pm, 2:45pm, 3:30pm, 4:15pm, 5:00pm; from June to September also at 5:45pm, 6:30pm, 7:15pm.
